Strolling in the bazaar of Essaouira one sunny November day, we came across this delightful carpet. We love the deep burgundy colour combined with the bright pink, turquoise and red accents. You will get a velvetish sensation when you touch it, close to that of a chenille fabric. Handwoven by a Berber female artisan in south Morocco.
